Overview: The first sharing friendly building in NYC
A hostile regulatory environment was costing onefinestay (acquired by Accor for $160M) millions in lost revenue. They needed a strategy to combat City Hall and a product that spoke to the needs of high-end owners concerned with the threat of retaliation from building ownership. We were hired by the co-founders to do both.
Highlights:
- Created the first building friendly home sharing product in NYC
- Developed go-to-market strategy including messaging, target accounts, and outreach
- Sourced and hired Mayor de Blasio's largest fundraiser to lobby City Hall for fairer regulatory treatment
- Landed front page coverage in industry magazines and the Real Estate section of The New York Times
