Overview: The first sharing friendly building in NYC

A hostile regulatory environment was costing onefinestay (acquired by Accor for $160M) millions in lost revenue. They needed a strategy to combat City Hall and a product that spoke to the needs of high-end owners concerned with the threat of retaliation from building ownership. We were hired by the co-founders to do both.

Highlights:

  1. Created the first building friendly home sharing product in NYC
  2. Developed go-to-market strategy including messaging, target accounts, and outreach
  3. Sourced and hired Mayor de Blasio's largest fundraiser to lobby City Hall for fairer regulatory treatment
  4. Landed front page coverage in industry magazines and the Real Estate section of The New York Times
